Speech Summary, the VDH way

As always, Victor Davis Hanson summed up last night's speech perfectly...

 "[Obama's] bottom line: our enemies are winning, AK-47s are ubiquitous in our streets, our economy is in depression, and gay people can't visit their dying partners in our hospitals"

AK47's? Find one that has been involved in a crime... Yes, you may find an SKS (chinese or other asian manufacturer). Plus, An AK47 is a full automatic weapon. An SKS IS NOT! Does it matter? It sure does if you're using it as a media campaign against our free society.

Depression? Possibly.... Although a conservative I to am feeling the pain of this country's current recession. Ultimately, I believe I haven't gotten off my ass enough to find a job that is surely out there.

Gays visiting their loved ones in the hospital? Yes, there are laws regarding family visitation. While I wouldn't have a problem with same sex partners visiting their loved ones in the hospital I DO have a problem with affording special designation/recognition.
